Spare Room

This Side of Paradise, as a music experience and social experiment, aims to challenge our creative support by providing them a platform to fully explore and excel in whatever artistic endeavor they find themselves doing that night. If performing your first live show, opening for a two-night hurrah of outright hysteria isn't evidence of that then we damn sure ain’t doing our job right. This is the circumstance for the inciting incident on 7.1.17.

Spare Room is fronted by Chance Soniat (who was the first friend I ever made when I moved to Huffman in middle school), with Alex Pinion on lead guitar, Derek Boone on Bass, and Ryan Crisp on drums.

Repetitive riffs over months in the garage led way to sound the band settled in: in all out tribute to the sacred southern signature of shredding. An aim to provide our Paradise Peeps with a familiar frequency, heart wrenching solos on the {gee-tar} and words you can sing along too.

There’s always a spare room…
